In the core of the cold and misty Milan, a breath of heat from the ancient Sicily
A suggestive Bourbonist atmosphere and a deconsecrated church dedicated to Saint Joseph are the two main features of Gattopardo Café, a multi-purpose and extremely fascinating location, which has contributed through the years to livening up the typical nights here in Milan.
Gattopardo Café is the first creature of the Milanese entrepreneur Pino Scalise and it is located in via Piero della Francesca 47. It comes from a particular attention for details and from an unrestrained love for Luchino Visconti´s full length film, from which the location takes its name. The location is characterized by an elegance deriving from an infinite amount of fascinating little details. The symbol of the location is the majestic chandelier which towers over the dancefloor: 65.000 drop crystals which change their colours and nuances thanks to a system of computerized scanners ( Golden Scan).
Going up the four steps in front of the main façade, it is easy to remember the enchanting Claudia Cardinale who dances in the final scene of Visconti´s masterpiece.
The conservative restauration works of the church has been carried out in a year without altering the original features of the location. It perfectly combine to details reminding ancient Palermitan palaces. Eventually, the staff in livery contributes to making Gattopardo Café, a high emotional location, suitable for hosting the most elegant social events here in Milan.
Gattopardo Café can host 375 people: 100 people for a buffet on the balcony, which has a separate entry, and 350 in the parterre, where also fashion parades and feasts can be organized.
Furthermore, Gattopardo Café can turn into a “theatre” and host 120 guests, and the presbytery turns into a natural stage for the speakers.

The added value of the location is increased by the position of the
deejay, whose cab is collocated on the altar. Then there is also an
elegant women´s gallery, which represents a way out for the guests. It
is 13 m high and it allows, only in special occasions, to put extremely
big screens to see projections and videos.
Gattopardo Café does not have any privé:
there is not any reserved space, so that the management of the space is
more democratic. In fact, Pino Scalise thinks that the whole location
is an exclusive place where every person has the same rights.
The policy about our disco evenings is completely innovative for the Milanese lifestyle: no pr, no one night, but everyday commercial music by the Londonian dj Lynette and by other famous dj of the moment.
The only ecception is on Tuesday, when Gattopardo Café offers Seven to One,
a dancing happy-hour to everyone who do not want to do away with the
disco evening, but have to get up early the following morning: six
hours of music starting at 7 p.m.
In the end, Gattopardo Café, is today the favourite location for
fashion parades and business events. Prestigious businesses of luxury
cars, jewels, drinks are used to coming to our location. Eventually,
Gattopardo Café is perfect also for film and advertisement productions.
